Cam Skattebo is one of the NFL's most physical, bruising running backs, and he's only just entering his second season at 24 years old. In Week 1 against the Cowboys, he ran for 81 yards and a touchdown on 18 attempts, averaging 4.5 yards per carry and having his way with a Dallas defensive line that featured Quinnen Williams, Kenny Clark, and Rashan Gary. This week, though, he'll face the possibility of having to run through one of the greatest defensive tackles of all time, Aaron Donald, with the New York Giants set to face off against the Los Angeles Rams on "Monday Night Football" at SoFi Stadium.
Unsurprisingly, that doesn't faze Skattebo. "He's had a couple years off, and I'm sure he's ready to go, and he's excited to play. But he's still got to play football," Skattebo told reporters.

During the 2023 season, his last with the Rams, he recorded 53 combined tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 23 quarterback hits, and eight sacks across 16 games. Skattebo isn't afraid of contact, but as a young player coming off a serious injury, he should be careful not to poke the bear too much ahead of a primetime showdown against a future Hall of Famer.
