CeeDee Lamb did not hold back when he was asked about the Cowboys' struggles on offense this year.

CeeDee Lamb is getting frustrated with the Dallas Cowboys' offensive struggles. The veteran wide receiver spoke to reporters on Thursday and was asked how frustrating it is when the offense is inconsistent. Lamb revealed the biggest issue and didn't hold back.

"We stop ourselves," Lamb said, per The Athletic's Jon Machota. "That s*** is frustrating. I hate it.” Dallas is currently 3-5, and while the defense has had its issues, the offense hasn't been up to par.

Last weekend, the Cowboys scored 30 points in their overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals. But as mentioned by Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com, the team had to work hard to get to 30, and there were protection issues as well as the inability to move the chains. In eight games, Dallas has scored 30 or more points five times.

Additionally, the team ranks 13th in the NFL in total offense, averaging 342 yards per game. But the Cowboys are not running the ball consistently, averaging 94 rushing yards per contest. And per Sharp Football Analysis, the Cowboys are motioning their players as much as the rest of the teams in the league, with a 44.1% motion rate, the second-lowest percentage in the NFL.

Despite the struggles, Lamb is having a strong 2026 season. Through eight games, the 27-year-old has caught 60 passes for 709 yards and six touchdowns. Lamb ranks third in the NFL in receptions and yards while tied for second in TDs.

Dallas has a chance to turn things around and make a playoff run if it can get right offensively. The Cowboys are two games behind the New York Giants for the NFC East lead and will face the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, and Tennessee Titans in their next three games. The Colts and Titans have a combined three wins this year.
