Unlike Democrats who have sought to combat Trump by mimicking his trolling, Ossoff has done rounds on the internet throughout the 2026 midterm season by delivering detail-rich speeches focused largely on critiquing the president’s ethics rather than his ideology. In the process, Ossoff has fundraised around $81 million—the most of any Democrat this cycle—all without accepting contributions from corporate PACs or federal lobbyists.
