The Philadelphia Eagles mounted a closely-contested victory over the Tennessee Titans at Nashville's Nissan Stadium this past Sunday. Trailing late in the fourth quarter, quarterback Jalen Hurts led the Eagles on a game-winning drive capped off by a touchdown reception for wide receiver Darius Cooper in the back of the end zone. Despite throwing two interceptions in this Week 2 contest, Hurts got the job done in the most important stat category: the win column.
Hurts is just the second quarterback in all-time NFL history to start their career with six consecutive wins in road openers. The Eagles recognized this impressive milestone with a social media post. The Eagles opened up their 2026 campaign with a 24-22 home win over the Washington Commanders at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.
Hurts threw for 203 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in that divisional matchup. This coming weekend, the Eagles will remain on the road for a matchup against the Chicago Bears. In Week 4, they'll return home to Lincoln Financial Field for a matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
