New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers returned to the field for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season, months after suffering a torn ACL in Week 4 of his 2025 campaign. Since his return to action, Nabers has steadily improved his production. In a Week 4 win over the Arizona Cardinals, he reeled in six catches for 112 yards and one touchdown.
He had 11 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown on a whopping 20 targets in this past Sunday's Week 5 tie with the Washington Commanders. While Nabers is performing at an elite level, he still feels he has "20-30%" left to gain before he's back to full strength. I still got like 20% left to get to, 20-30.
I got a lot more ahead of me that I see in myself," Nabers told reporters on Thursday. "There's just things on the field that I can do better. Even in those two big games that I had, I left many plays out there." Giants head coach John Harbaugh is "fired up" about this statement from Nabers.
I can't wait to see the 20-30% more, that's going to be fun," Harbaugh said on Friday. Nabers and the Giants will take the field for a Week 6 matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
