When the San Francisco 49ers signed Mike Evans to a three-year deal back in March, it was considered an all-in move for a franchise still searching for its first Super Bowl in over 30 years. But Evans has dealt with multiple soft-tissue injuries throughout training camp and the preseason, including a quadriceps strain and a groin strain, which have limited his availability. Any Bucs fan out there knows that these sorts of injuries aren't anything new for Evans, but it's still the last thing Niners fans want to see from their new star receiver.
Evans addressed the injury concerns Monday morning as the team gears up for its season opener against the Los Angeles Rams later in the week. "The training staff, they did a great job working with me," Evans said. "I know I’m an older player.
I’ve had probably over a thousand practices, football practices in my life now, so I know what I’m doing out there. They know what they’re doing. They did a good job taking care of me.

But it looks like Stribling truthers might have to ease up for the time being, with the future Hall of Famer all systems go for Week 1.
In addition to Evans, Brock Purdy will also have a healthy George Kittle, who is on track to play vs. the Rams after his Achilles tear, alongside Stribling, Deebo Samuel, and Christian McCaffrey. LA meanwhile enters with one of the best WR duos in football, Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, along with a two-headed backfield of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, and last year's MVP Matthew Stafford. Their defense is even scarier, with Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald both expected to suit up next to Byron Young, Kobie Turner, and Trent McDuffie.
