Nancy Meyers has spent decades making audiences covet the kitchens, living rooms and impossibly cozy interiors in her movies. Now, her daughter is making that aesthetic a little easier to bring home.
Target has teamed with Annie Meyers-Shyer, the author and creator behind @ThisOakHouse, for a new home collection under its Threshold label, featuring vintage-inspired decor. The lineup includes throw pillows, ceramic vases, hurricane candle holders, faux greenery, woven accents and a knit throw, with prices starting at $25. The collection launched Sept. 13 in select Target stores and online.
The collaboration takes inspiration from Meyers-Shyer’s affinity for antiques, natural materials and interiors that look as though they’ve been assembled over time rather than bought all at once. It arrives as Target continues to refresh its longtime Threshold home brand with more distinctive designs and higher-end details at accessible price points. The designer’s approach is decidedly anti-showroom.
For Meyers-Shyer, a home gets its character from books, family photos, travel souvenirs and other personal objects — and the nicer pieces shouldn’t be kept tucked away for special occasions. The collaboration is also part of a broader evolution for Threshold in 2026. Mara Sirhal, Target’s senior vice president of merchandising for home, said the retailer is sharpening the brand’s aesthetic with “more distinctive design, elevated details and incredible value,” with additional designer collections still to come.
