The Kansas City Chiefs are having a great start to the season, as they have a perfect 4-0 record. Now, as the Chiefs continue to thrive, they are being linked to one of their former star wide receivers. According to The Athletic's Michael Silver, the Chiefs are expected to target free agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill once he is ready to return to game action from his injury.
In addition, Silver reported that the Chiefs have already been in contact with Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Hearing that the Chiefs have Hill on their radar is not surprising in the slightest. They could use another wide receiver, and Hill is a player who they already know well.
This is because he spent four seasons with the Chiefs from 2018 to 2021, where he was a Pro Bowler each year. He was also a part of the Chiefs' Super Bowl LIV team. Hill was limited to only four games last season with the Miami Dolphins, where he posted one touchdown, 21 receptions, and 265 receiving yards.
This was after he had six touchdowns, 81 receptions, and 959 receiving yards in 17 games with the Dolphins in 2025. Overall, with the Chiefs needing another wide receiver, it would be great if they successfully brought back Hill. It will be interesting to see if their interest leads to them landing him from here.
