The Ducks were upset by the Bruins on Saturday due in part to Oregon's poor offensive performance.

The No. 13 Oregon Ducks suffered a dramatic 17-15 upset to the No. 21 UCLA Bruins on Saturday. The Ducks put up a frustrating offensive performance, to say the least. The offense committed seven turnovers in the contest.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning opted to bench Dylan Raiola at the end of the third quarter as he only completed 6-of-19 passes for 43 yards, two interceptions and one fumble. It was an embarrassing outing. Understandably, Lanning expressed his frustrations after the game.

He was asked in his post-game press conference if he's open to making a change at who makes the offensive play calls. Offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer has been making the calls, but he might not be doing so for long. Here's what Lanning said: "I have to definitely evaluate the game first.

Go back and look at it," Lanning said. "We didn't have success on offense, so I think you have to look at all things, right? You have to look at all things.

Was it the way we operated in practice? Certainly wasn't the way we operate in the games, but everything has to be up for evaluation." The 3-2 Ducks hadn't struggled offensively much except for Saturday's game. Before Saturday's 15 points, the Ducks scored a total of 190 points through four games (thanks in part to their 84-0 win over Portland State).

It's obvious something wasn't clicking well on offense on Saturday, which is something that needs to be fixed soon if Oregon wants a chance at making the College Football Playoff. Lanning is aware the Ducks need to respond accordingly to keep their postseason hopes alive. "We don't control our destiny anymore," Lanning said.
