The Los Angeles Rams picked up a big 35-21 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday night. With this victory, the Rams now have a 3-4 record and have given themselves a bit more life in the playoff race. Because of this, the Rams could very well look to add to their roster ahead of the trade deadline.
One clear area the Rams should look to upgrade before the deadline is the wide receiver position. Due to this, they are now being linked to a top trade candidate from the Minnesota Vikings. In a recent article for ESPN, Matt Bowen and Jeremy Fowler named the Rams as the best trade fit for Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jauan Jennings.
Jennings has had trouble finding his fit with the Vikings, and it has led to him being the subject of trade rumors leading up to the deadline. With the Rams needing help at wide receiver, it would be entirely understandable if they kicked tires on him. Jennings has appeared in five games this season with the Vikings, where he has recorded four receptions and 43 receiving yards.
Yet, when noting that he had nine touchdowns and 643 receiving yards just last season with the San Francisco 49ers, there is reason to believe that he could heat back up with a change of scenery. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see if the Rams pursue Jennings. If they landed him and he bounced back, he would be a strong addition to their roster.
