Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson missed the entire second half of Sunday's Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans after suffering a left ankle injury. The team is still evaluating the severity of Jackson's injury, but head coach Jesse Minter told reporters that he doesn't expect it to be a long-term issue. However, Minter wouldn't commit to anything when it comes to Jackson's status for this coming Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
We're still gathering a lot of the information and the imaging and things like that," Minter said of the odds Jackson takes the field on Sunday night. "[He's] just dealing with a little bit of an ankle, and we'll kind of see where that shakes out. Full trust and confidence in him that, when it's ready to roll, we'll roll and go from there.
"I really don't think it's going to be crazy long-term, but we'll see what happens," Minter added. The Ravens' primetime "Sunday Night Football" matchup against the Falcons will kick off at 8:20 p.m. The following week, they'll face off against the Cleveland Browns.
