The Baltimore Ravens completed their comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons with an overtime interception from superstar safety Kyle Hamilton. Falcons backup quarterback Tua Tagovailoa came in for starter Michael Penix Jr. after he suffered a ribs injury on a big hit late in regulation. While trailing 30-23 in overtime, the former Miami Dolphins signal caller threw a pass over the middle of the field and into the arms of a diving Hamilton.
The interception resulted in a walk-off win for the Ravens, who are now 4-1 on the season. Hamilton dropped an amazing quote about his interception during an interview with "Sunday Night Football" postgame. "I don't get paid overtime, so we're out here for free. so I was trying to get back home as quick as possible," Hamilton said.
While Hamilton doesn't get paid overtime, he certainly does well for himself. He's the second-highest paid safety in NFL history, trailing only Los Angeles Chargers star Derwin James. He signed a four-year, $100.4 million extension with the Ravens last summer.
The Ravens will face off against the Cleveland Browns in a Week 6 matchup this coming Sunday.
