Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a left ankle injury in the first half of Sunday's Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans. Jackson missed the entire second half with his injury, and left M&T Bank Stadium in a protective walking boot. Reporting from NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport indicates that Jackson could miss multiple games with this ankle issue.
However, Ravens head coach Jesse Minter continues to leave the door open for a possible return as early as this coming Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. There's a lot of time between now and Sunday," Minter said. "To Lamar's credit, he's getting a lot of treatment and doing things.
There will be a point later in the week where we figure out kind of where it's at, but to his credit he's putting in work with the trainers. Tyler Huntley stepped in as the Ravens' replacement QB, throwing for 63 yards in the second half. Sunday's primetime matchup against the Falcons will kick off at 8:20 p.m.
