Boye Mafe, the guy who led the team in sacks three years ago and has been their most consistent pass-rusher? Nick Emmanwori will be asked to step up in the absence of Bryant. Devon Witherspoon and Josh Jobe will be asked to do the same in the absence of Woolen.

The Seahawks are reuniting the former first-round pick with defensive coordinator Aden Durde, who coached him to a double-digit sack output across two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. If that wasn’t enough, they also will reunite him with Lawrence, with whom he played alongside during his career revival.
It’s short money, but there is tons of responsibility that will be piled onto the plate of the No. 3 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Go get the opposing quarterback. It’s all they’re asking of you.
