Sister Group has signed a production and distribution deal with “University Challenge” host Amol Rajan. The news was announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival, where Rajan, formerly the BBC’s media editor, was giving the alternative MacTaggart lecture. The first project under the partnership will be “The Amol Rajan Connection,” set to be recorded at the Koko venue in Camden, in which Sister is a stakeholder.
Sister’s Rich Waterworth (TikTok, YouTube) and Bryony Hopkins (LADBible, Flight Story) will consult on the project, with Waterworth leading strategy and Hopkins production. And I’m thrilled to announce I am signing a production and distribution deal with Sister Group, which is thriving under the inspirational leadership of Lucinda Hicks, Jane Featherstone and Liz Murdoch. I could not be more grateful to Sister’s Rich Waterworth and Bryony Hopkins, for their magnificent work in getting this machine running.” Sister, which spans TV, film, podcasting and publishing, among other media, was founded by Murdoch and Featherstone in 2019.
