Long live “South America.” Ahead of the premiere of the show’s 29th Season, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have announced they are changing the name of the series. That included showing Trump being lovers with Satan à la their earlier roast of Saddam Hussein, as well as portraying Vice President JD Vance as Tattoo from “Fantasy Island.” It also comes as Trump has repeatedly issued orders to change names of major geographic bodies to include America in the name. Most recently, he announced that his administration would now be referring to Lake Ontario as Lake America following a trade dispute with Canada, while he also shared a video on social media which indicated New Mexico could soon become New America.
Previously, Trump decreed that the Gulf of Mexico would now be the Gulf of America, with Google and Apple reflecting the changes on their maps apps. ET/PT on Comedy Central, with new episodes available to stream on Paramount+ the next day in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
