The Ultra 4 has Apple’s S11 chip and a health-sensing system designed to improve heart rate tracking.
Its Readiness feature combines fitness, vitals, and sleep data into a score from 1 to 10, intended to help you gauge how prepared you are for physical effort that day. For outdoor adventures, the Ultra 4 also offers precision dual-frequency GPS and Emergency SOS via satellite, making any excursion safer. One potential trade-off is size: Aloian found the 49mm watch bulky on her small wrist at bedtime, even though she loved the larger screen during the day.
