Deshaun Watson’s performance in Saturday’s 31-7 preseason loss to the Buffalo Bills (he completed 5 of 12 passes for 36 yards and an interception) ended like a lot of his regular-season performances — with him being booed off the field after a poor showing on the field. And Watson took that reaction personally. Speaking to reporters after the game, Watson admitted that he wasn’t happy with how his own fan base treated him, calling them out for celebrating when he tore his Achilles — an injury that caused him to miss half of the 2024 season (he also re-tore that same Achilles, which kept him out for the entire 2025 season too).
