But now two games into their 2026 campaign, the Chiefs look back to their championship-contending ways. Kansas City began the year with a dominant 31-10 win over the Denver Broncos.
And on Sunday night, the team pulled out a closely-contested 33-30 overtime win over the visiting Indianapolis Colts. Veteran tight end Travis Kelce put on a vintage performance in this primetime win, reeling in nine catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. During the most recent episode of his "New Heights" podcast, Kelce explained what's different about this year's Chiefs team.
