The news comes exactly six months after her breast cancer diagnosis was shared in March. Wiles, who is one of President Donald Trump's closest advisors, said she planned to remain in her role as White House chief of staff during her treatment.
At the time of diagnosis, Wiles said the cancer was detected early, and on Wednesday, she announced that she had officially been declared cancer free. "Some personal news I’m grateful to share," Wiles wrote on X. "After a medical appointment at the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results came back clear.
Thank you to my family, friends, doctors, and everyone who prayed for me, checked in, and supported me along the way. A special thank you to President Trump for his unwavering support. I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First Agenda." Newsweek reached out to the White House by email for comment on Wednesday.
