President Donald Trump on Sunday signaled that he would not intervene in the case of Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy, who is charged with killing her three young children amid allegations that she suffered from postpartum psychosis. When asked whether he would pardon Clancy, Trump called the situation "very sad" but said the case is ultimately a "state situation," not a federal one. "There’s no winner there.
There’s no win no matter what you do. Three children are dead," he said. The response came after attorney Kevin Reddington, who represents Clancy, publicly asked Trump to grant his client a pardon last week.
