WNBA legend Candace Parker revealed Caitlin Clark's blunt comment to her at the scorer's table during the Fever's playoff game.

The Indiana Fever were officially eliminated from the WNBA Playoffs, bringing an end to Caitlin Clark's first attempt to make a serious run at a championship. It was a challenging first-round matchup as Clark and company faced off against A'ja Wilson and the defending champion Las Vegas Aces. After Las Vegas captured an opening win at home, the two teams returned to Indiana with the Fever attempting to stave off elimination.

It became a hard-fought game between several of the league's All-Stars, including this season's MVP contenders, Wilson, Clark, and Kelsey Mitchell. Clark was having a big game in front of the home crowd, too, with WNBA legend Candace Parker on the broadcast team calling the action. On the "Post Moves" podcast, which she co-hosts with Clark's teammate, Aliyah Boston, Parker revealed that Clark came by when she was "minding [her] own business" and made a blunt remark to her during the game.

Parker asked her co-host, Boston. "I was just kind of like, 'Yeah, great shot. I'm just sitting here minding my own business.' But it seems like there's certainly players that love the chaos.

I was one of those players that was like, 'Please talk mess to me. Please point in my face,'" she said, adding, "Please do those things to get me angry." Parker mentioned seeing something similar from the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry toward her broadcast colleague Reggie Miller while calling an NBA game. She said she loves the "passion" but wishes everyone would "keep it in between the lines," suggesting that some fans don't always do the same with their reactions and debates.

In Game 2, Clark went off in the first half with a historic double-double. She finished the game with 27 points and 15 assists for a huge night, powering Indiana to a 99-89 win that evened the series. Unfortunately, Wilson and her teammates responded with a big Game 3 win in Las Vegas to officially eliminate the Fever from playoff contention.

Clark is clearly a player who gets fired up during games, whether it's from a referee's call or non-call, or an opponent's trash-talking. That passion has become a defining part of her on-court persona and was on full display this past season and during the Fever's brief playoff run.
