San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was impressed by what he saw from Mike Evans in Sunday's Week 5 win.

The San Francisco 49ers extended their unbeaten record to 5-0 with a thrilling 32-29 win over the reigning Super Bowl-champion Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans put on a stellar performance in the Week 5 win, reeling in seven catches for 113 yards and one touchdown score. The 33-year-old wide receiver had four catches for 75 yards on a go-ahead, fourth-quarter touchdown drive that was capped off by his two-point conversion grab to give San Francisco a three-point lead. Superstar tight end George Kittle, who had five catches for 24 yards of his own, offered a blunt assessment of Evans on social media.

"Mike Evans is really good at football," Kittle wrote. Evans fits well with the 49ers in his first season away from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise. Through his first five games in San Francisco, the veteran WR has 24 catches for 326 yards and three scores.

"He's a game changer," quarterback Brock Purdy said of Evans postgame, via ESPN. "If you give him the right looks and give him a chance, he can make defenses pay. ... As a quarterback, any time I have an [opportunity] to go to him, it always feels good.

He came in the clutch for us there at the end, the beginning of the game, the third-down conversion, the touchdown." The 49ers will look to further their undefeated record in a primetime "Monday Night Football" matchup against the Washington Commanders in Week 6.
