All the United States Wisconsin Frank & Nancy’s Marine Corps Museum Frank Cornelius, a retired Korea and Vietnam War veteran has taken what started out as a personal collection of Marine Corps memorabilia and created a museum, with his wife Nancy. He gives guided tours (by appointment) during the summer months. The collection started out as a display in the family basement but outgrew that space.
After moving the display to another building, it has grown impressively, thanks to generous donations from private individuals. Walk along with Frank as he recounts the history and tells tales of days gone by. Many of the items are from his own service in the Marines, which lasted 22 years.
The Marine Corps Museum is truly a labor of love and a testament to service. Get more unusual and extraordinary places each week with the Atlas Obscura Places newsletter. Your newsletter subscriptions with us are subject to Atlas Obscura's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
