The Washington Commanders found that out during their season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Diggs, who was signed late in the offseason, scored his first touchdown as a member of the team late in the fourth quarter to bring them within two points with 9:59 left to play in the contest -- then he jumped to wrap himself around the goalpost, drawing a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct moved the two-point try back and led the Commanders to settle for an extra point. Commanders head coach Dan Quinn confirmed he would have gone for two had there not been a penalty on the celebration.

Washington also had another chance to tie it late in the fourth quarter, failing its two-point attempt and ultimately losing 24-22 at Lincoln Financial Field. It's safe to say the lapse in judgement wasn't the sole reason for the end result, but it certainly had an impact.
