Meg Stalter Plays the Ultimate Holiday Diva for Marc Jacobs

Hop into Marc Jacobs’ “Let It Joy” campaign, a snowed-in, holiday ride with bags, beauty, and gifts galore.

The new Marc Jacobs holiday campaign had me thinking of that famous Sex and the City image: Carrie charging out into a snowstorm in a fabulous fur coat, heels, and a sequin beanie, off to spend the holidays with Miranda. Now, picture Meg Stalter in her own fur coat and matching beanie facing the same snowstorm, only in this scenario, she’s not planning on braving it. That’s the premise of “Let It Joy,” the brand’s Winter 2026 campaign.

Stalter is stranded at Hotel Marc in downtown New York during a record-breaking blizzard when Mel Ottenberg, editor-in-chief of Interview knocks on her door with an invitation to a hotel holiday party. The catch: she never got the room number, and she has to hunt it down. The imagery follows the party’s increasingly unhinged vignettes (and a lot of outfit changes), with a cast that’s a very New York who’s who: Knicks center Andre Drummond, social media personality Ashtin Earle, Mel Ottenberg, model and actress Kai Schreiber, and designer and stylist Miyako Bellizzi.

Marc Jacobs takes us on a humorous, glamorous, dreamlike ride of holiday gifting. Meg waltzes around in grandiose outerwear like The Puffer and slings The Scene Bag, now in new sizes. Girl-world guests flaunt The Tote Bag in fresh poppy colorways alongside whimsical star-shaped balloons, running around the hotel in everything from the 72 Spring Street Sneaker to The Aspen Winter Boots.

The Scene Wallet, small leather goods, accessories, and Marc Jacobs Beauty round out the gift-ready lineup. The holiday dream world of Marc Jacobs has been built, and consider this your invitation. Part fantasy, part gift guide, and entirely worth joining.

Just don’t forget to ask for the room number. Jessica (aka Jess) is a Senior Fashion Editor at Cosmopolitan, working across both fashion market and styling for print stories, as well as digital fashion and commerce coverage. Prior to joining Cosmo, she worked in fashion at Vanity Fair.

Jess lives in New York City and loves spotlighting emerging designers you might not have heard of yet—while also being an unabashedly devoted Love Island fan (dating back to Season 1 of Love Island UK, that’s how serious). See more of her work here, and follow her on Instagram if you love her.
