Ole Miss Rebels Rebels quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has quickly emerged as an early Heisman Trophy contender after a strong performance in the team's Week 3 win over the LSU Tigers. As a result, Chambliss is receiving the recognition of being arguably the best quarterback in all of college football. Chambliss picked apart the defense of his former coach Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers, throwing for 363 yards and recording three total touchdowns in the 32-24 victory.
Following the win for Ole Miss, EA Sports took to social media to announce a ratings update to their EA Sports College Football 27 video game that now holds Chambliss in extremely high regard. While the likes of Miami quarterback Darian Mensah and Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor have looked equally as impressive early on in the 2026 season, neither have notched as high-quality of a win as Chambliss did in Week 3 against LSU. Things don't get easier for Chambliss and Ole Miss heading into Week 4, as they will take on the No. 21 ranked Florida Gators in enemy territory. So it will sure be interesting to see whether Chambliss can string together another strong performance to maintain his top rating in EA Sports College Football 27 moving forward.
