Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles took the field in Foxborough for a joint practice with Drake Maye and the New England Patriots on Wednesday. After the joint session, Hurts was asked if he had any advice for Maye as he heads into his third professional season — specifically when it comes to getting the most out of wide receiver A.J. Brown spent the last four seasons in Philadelphia, but was sent to New England in a blockbuster trade deal earlier this offseason.
"I just think he needs to continue the progression that he’s on. I mean, he’s already accomplished so many great things in a short time and I expect more great things to come for him.” Maye and Hurts both fell short in their first Super Bowl appearances. Hurts bounced back to get the job done in 2024-25, and Maye will look to do the same as he comes off last year's title-game loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
The Eagles and Patriots will face off in a preseason matchup at 7 p.m.
