New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers was unable to take the practice field on Wednesday as he deals with a knee issue.

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers posted his best performance of the 2026 NFL season this past Sunday, reeling in six catches for 112 yards and a touchdowns in a Week 4 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Nabers gave the Giants an injury scare early in the game, grabbing at the same shoulder he injured earlier this year. However, it was his surgically-repaired knee that kept him off the practice field on Wednesday.

Nabers was spotted off to the side with trainers for the open media portion of Wednesday's practice. When the team's official injury report was released, he was listed as a non participant. Nabers didn't give reporters much when talking about his injury, but did explain that he's "more sore than usual" to open up the week.

He responded "we'll see" when asked if this injury issue will affect his status for this coming Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Nabers suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Week 4 of the Giants' 2025 campaign. The 23-year-old pass catcher returned to the field in Week 1 and hasn't missed a game since.

Sunday's matchup against the Commanders will kick off at 1 p.m.
